Once membership has been approved and BBMXC is selected as your "Primary Club" you will be able to enroll.

1. I will treat all members of, and person associated with BBMXC with due dignity and respect.
2. I will treat everyone equally and never discriminate against another person associated with BBMXC on any grounds including that of age, sexual orientation, gender, faith, ethnic origin or nationality.
3. I understand that the use of inappropriate or abusive language, bullying, harassment or physical violence will not be tolerated and could result in action being taken through the disciplinary or welfare policies.
4. I will always display a high standard of behaviour.
5. I will always report any poor behaviour by others to an appropriate coach or member of the committee.
6. I will recognize and celebrate the good performance and success of riders and club members.
7. If travelling by car up the driveway to the facility I will do so with due care to the safety of the public in Perry Park.
Training Sessions
1. I will treat my coach/child’s coach and fellow riders with respect.
2. I will make my coach/child’s coach aware if I have difficulties in attending training sessions.
3. I will arrive in good time at the track before the training session starts to complete warm up and bike checks as directed by my coach/child’s coach.
4. I understand that if I arrive late, I must report to my coach before riding on the track.
5. I will ensure that I have/my child has all required equipment and protective gear, and they are used correctly including effective fastening of the full-face helmet. This is required both on and off the track.
6. If I need to leave the training session early for any reason, I will inform my coach/my child’s coach before doing so.
7. Child - I will listen to what my coach is always telling me and obey any instructions given.
8. Parent/guardian – I will remain within the track facility and visible to my child throughout their training session. If I am not able to be present, I will have a designated adult guardian for my child. The details of the guardian will be given to the staff on the front desk and the coach on arrival.
9. Parent/guardian – I will not interfere with the instructions being given to my child by their coach during the training session as this may confuse them and put my child at risk.
At Race Events
1. Rider - I will always behave in a manner that shows respect to my fellow riders.
2. I will support my fellow club/team riders. Everyone likes to be supported and they will support me in return.
3. I will show respect to volunteers and commissaires throughout the event and listen to their guidance.
4. If I need to dispute a decision, I will do so in a calm and respectful manner remembering that they are volunteers who are giving their time for my child to race.
As a parents/guardian’s you have the right to:
Breaches of the Code of Conduct
Any breaches of this code of conduct will result in:
1. A verbal warning in the first instance
2. A formal yellow card in writing if behaviour persists.
3. A formal red card in writing and rider/parent will be suspended from attending the BMX facility for a given period of time as decided by the committee.
By booking onto training sessions at Birmingham BMX Club and booking onto races as a rider representing Birmingham BMX Club, I hereby certify that I have read this document and understand its contents.
